On Tuesday, September 6, 1977, the sport Karate had an opportunity to prove it's praiseworthiness in the world. Karate fighters
from Japan, South Korea, and Europe & The United States entered Lampinee Stadium for bouts between Karate vs Muay Thai.
The karate fighters were completely annihilated by the Thai Fighters, and a far more superior fighting art of Muay Thai. This
set the stage in North America to have knees & elbows banned to keep the integrity of Karate alive under the disguise
of safety. In Europe the Muay Thai ball began rolling, and transformation of the world's greatest ring sport took its place
on the center stage. Decades later, thanks to the rise of MMA i.e. UFC, Muay Thai had well established itself as the toughest
of all ring sports in North America as well. Mixed with grappling, a fighter could become unstoppable.
