Welcome to a true New Jersey Devil's Diehard site. This site was was created Jan. 2001. If you are not a Devils fan, I warn you that I call it like I see it. If you are a Devil's fan, make sure to check out the hits section, with lots of pics of Scott Stevens delivering the big blows.

(July 28th) To Cathy: What have the Hurricanes accomplished? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. They went to the big dance and came home with nothing. Please don't compare your team to the a team that has won 2 cups. That's 2 cups in 18 years of existence. We can give the hurricanes a 100 years and they will still be right where they are now.....NO CUP!! That's for curing my boring summer hockey-less blues. Hee hee

(July 17th) ELias signs a 3 year deal with Devils!!

(July 8th) Devils re-aquire Corey Schwab, from Maple Leafs, to back-up Brodeur.

(July 7th) BIG TRADE: Devils trade Sykora, Commodore & back-up goalie Damphouse to Mighty Ducks in exchange for (speedy forward)Friesen, (offensive defenseman) Tverdovsky.

To ANAHEIN

TO NEW JERSEY

What do the devils get from this. Friesen is an extreme offensive speedster. This guy can move. Very exact break-outs similar to Mogilny, without the over paid contact. Tverdovsky is a very high point getting Defenseman. He has averaged 40 assists in the last 3 season minuss last years dissappointing 10 assists. This gives the Devils the most offensive threatening defence core in the entire NHL. Niedermayer, Rafalski & Tverdovsky will have the opposition defence playing way back. Once again, my hats go off to Lou! The rangers could learn something here. My heart goes out to Sykora who has been brilliant the last few years. Thanks for the memories, we'll miss you. Go Devils Go!

(July 1st) Sad news today as Bobby Holik signs with the New York Rangers as they attempt to buy yet another cup again this year. I don't know if I should say we'll miss him or if he's a traitor. Fact is he plays for the most hated team in hockey. Lou might have made a wise decision here. The Refs were very focused on him this year. Maybe Holik has worn his welcome with the NHL officals. Regardless of how many goals he would score; he isn't much use to the Devils if he's sitting in the penalty box for half the game. I guess we'll check back with him in 9 months when the Rangers hit the golf course.

(June 13)The New Jersey Devils today named Pat Burns their head coach!!!

(June 3rd)The New Jersey Devils today signed defenseman Phil Cole, while re-signing unrestricted free agent forward Stephen Guolla. The club also chose not to sign defenseman Deryk Engelland and center Warren McCutcheon; both will be re-entered into this month's Entry Draft.

Guolla, 29, was Albany's (AHL) leading scorer this past season with 25 goals and 35 assists for 60 points and 27 penalty minutes in 68 games. The 6'0", 190 lb. forward was signed by New Jersey as a free agent October 21, 2001. Guolla split his first seven professional seasons between the AHL and NHL. He had 38 goals and 46 assists for 84 points and 58 penalty minutes in 193 career NHL games with San Jose, Tampa Bay and Atlanta. While with Kentucky (AHL), Guolla was named to the league's Second All-Star Team following the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons, and received the Les Cunningham Award as AHL MVP in 1997-98. He was Ottawa's first choice, and third overall selection in the 1994 Supplemental Draft, and played four seasons at Michigan State (CCHA).

TIE DOMI =

Here is some pics of the big fight that never happened between Jim Mackenzie and Tie "I'm Scared" Domi.......

In case you didn't see the high lights or the game itself. Mackenzie jumped on Domi right at the get go. This was over the sucker elbow delivered by Domi to Niedermayer in the 2001 play-offs. Domi didn't even have time to think, so he hid himself like a turtle and took the dive.
